2008 was a good year for all of us here in the Bressler household. We are still living in Happy, Texas, as we have been for the last four years. We love it here. Ben still works for eBankSystems, but instead of traveling to work everyday, he works from his home-office. We are very blessed that he is able to do this. Janda is still a full-time stay at home mom.
Both of us have lost quite a lot of weight this year, as you can see in our picture. We started dieting in February, and have lost a total of 108 pounds. Ben has lost 55 pounds, Janda has lost 53. We feel so much better now. Also, we have taken up running. We plan to be running races all throughout next year, working up to a marathon.
We are also in charge of cub scouts here in Happy, and stay busy with that. We love leading the boys. Ben has coached Jayden’s flag football team this year, and is coaching his little dribblers team. Janda volunteers a lot at school and stays active in the community. As a family, we often help Janda’s folks on the chuckwagon. Ben got two first place awards for baking bread at different competitions this year.
Jayden is 8 now, and growing up too fast. He loves sports. He is in flag football, basketball, and baseball. He recently got his own room, decorated in Texas longhorns. He loves it. He is old enough to be in Junior FFA this year, and is busy raising two pigs to show. He loves to fish, and caught 44 pounds with his Papa Don during Thanksgiving break.
Pace is 4 and goes to kindergarten next year. He stays busy here at the house all day playing with Hayes. He loves drawing – he’s quite the little artist. He loves going to Sunday school. He keeps this house lively with all of the funny things he does. We have plenty of stories to share about his adventures.
Hayes is 2 and talking up a storm. He is in love with Elmo and his Oopa. He loves Oopa’s big truck. He wears his boots all the time, just like his Daddy and Oopa. He is a shy little guy, but has recently decided to go to his Sunday school class all by himself.
You can keep up with us all year long at our blog at http://happybressler.blogspot.com.
We love you all and wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Love –
The Bressler’s
