This is Turkey Lurkey he is new to us.... as you can see he is a little guy. This is my moms turkey Cole bought it for her and she could not keep it at her house because she had no coop and 2 mean, hungry dogs. So we are raising it here. I have wanted a turkey for a while so it worked out!
Our Chickens are now 11 weeks and getting big we are already eating our boilers. Our layers are beautiful in my opinion. We accidentally got a rooster of the layers breed they sent him thinking he was a pullet. But it all works out because now we can breed them.

Way cool. I've heard that turkeys are very hard to raise.
We're planning to use Teagen's rooster to hopefully hatch some next year.
Should be a fun experiment for us all!
