Well this past weekend the Rising W Chuckwagon headed to Ruidoso NM for the BIG Chuckwagon cook off. We cooked some really wonderful food we cooked lunch on Saturday for competition we made chicken fried steak, beans, mashed potatoes, rolls, and cobbler. We did not end up winning too big on anything we got 5th in potatoes. Sunday morning we made breakfast the only competition food for this was our biscuits and gravy we didn't win with this either but they were dang good in my opinion. We also made for breakfast but not for cometition, sausage, eggs, hashbrowns and catalope salsa with some cowboy coffee.
We had a great time Jayden and Pace were in a kids rodeo. Jayden did the goat ropin, and goat headin and healin. He did great he roped the goat! Pace did the stick horse race and was fast! Hayes didn't want to do any of it cause he had to get in front of people so he cheered his brothers on with mom and dad. We stayed in our camper which is always fun. We had a blast.
