This year was Jayden's first year to show an animal in the stock shows he is in the Jr.FFA here in Happy. He had 2 pigs this year and one was a Hamp and the other a cross breed. He showed at two shows one here in Happy the local show and the county show in Tulia. His pigs were not so great this year so..... at the local show he only could show his hamp because him cross did not make weight (we could not get the little thing to gain weight this year???) Anyways.. his Hamp got last in his class, but Jayden had a great time showing. At the county show Jayden got last with his Hamp again (the thing has no shoulders) and 8th with his cross (they did let him show his cross even though the weight was not good). Jayden said he didn't care if he got 8th he was just happy cause he beat his Uncle Tron in the cross class. lol One good thing is that Jayden got called back for Jr. Showmanship he did not win this but for being his first year and getting called back for that I was proud of him. We were thinking of going to Ft. Worth for the big stock show but I think we will lay off this year due to the pigs we have being so sorry.
Jayden had a great time with his pigs this year and is looking forward to getting 2 more next year.

Jayden, we are proud of you. That's awesome that you got called back for showmanship! (sometimes that is better than placing in your class) We'll miss you guys at Ft. Worth. We're looking forward to all of the years of showing we have ahead of us!
