Happy Days 2009

Well Happy Days has once again come and gone. It was a good one the kids and Ben and I had plenty of fun! Friday we went to the dance the band sang ok but took way too many breaks so this dance was kinda of a bummer. We went home early that night. Saturday we went to the parade the cub scouts carried the flags at the front of the parade Jayden and my nephew Justin got to do this together! (I really enjoy that our kids get to grow up with their cousins) Elise my niece was in the parade too she is a Jr. High cheerleader this year. Man is she growing up! The little boys stood by me and caught candy during the parade.

After the parade we walked to the park to check out the booths. The boys as always bought a toy from the cheap toy booth we ended up with 3 plastic swords. We also bought a chance on the quilt that the Sr. Citizen Ladies make every year but once again we didn't get it maybe next year. I got a necklace that one of my friends Renee Bohening made it is beautiful it is one of those junk necklaces, it is black and yellow (school colors). Pace also got his face painted he wanted the black spiderman (Venom). After spending a little money at the booths we got a good seat to watch the live music. Ben and my mom were a part of this. Ben played his banjo for the 3rd year he loves it and is getting better and better every year. My mother sang she has a beautiful voice. I loved getting to listen to them. The BBQ we ate was very good.

After the entertainment at the park was over Jayden and Pace went home with Elise and Justin to play. Hayes, Ben and I went home to nap. My mom came to to take her a nap we were wore out.

If you were wondering where my Dad was during all this Cole had a football scrimage in Petersburg that morning so he went to watch him. My Dad said Cole caught the ball and gained 20 yrds. Cole is a freshman this year.

Saturday night my mom took the two little boys home to spend the night, We (Ben, Jayden, and I) went to the dance this band was awesome that played saturday night it was the Seth Savage Band! We danced till 1am.

That is about it! We had a great time and look forward to next year!
