What we did this weekend....

We had a pretty good weekend full of busy fun. Saturday, Ben woke up early and went to help my parents feed a breakfast off the chuckwagon to High Plains Epilepsy. Ben came home and we went to Jayden's flag football game and they had an exciting game they played the Gators it is a Tulia team and ended up tying. We went in to over time and ended up winning by a point I think. Jayden did well on defense he pulled a few flags this game. Ben was excited to see his team win their second game! After the game we were off to a GSI or a go see it with the cub scouts. We went to Amarillo to Habibtat for Humanity and went to their main office and watched a video about what they do, then we walked over to a site where they were actually building a house for a family. The boys really enjoyed it and I think we will go back some time and do a work project for them, they said we could paint some time. Then we went to my parents to pick up Hayes ...they kept him so we could do our GSI. And we got to see the new pigs which one is Jayden's just don't know which one is yet because the way we do it is we round up all the pigs and the boys pick which ones they want. So far there are 3 crosses. After we came home and Ben finally got to work on his truck which has been broke for months now. My parents came over and my brothers and Dad helped Ben. They had to pull the transmission. Well by early morning 2am they were through and what they thought was the problem which ended up costing us $500. was not the problem at all. Ben was a little frustrated. He is still working on it today I hope he figures it out. He always does.

Backing up back to Saturday night, I made supper for my parents and brothers we had fajitas or fajita salad. Then I helped Tron shave his head and he had me leave a T in the back of his head looks pretty cool. Then we all crashed till 2am when the guys got through.

And today Sunday we went to Sunday school and Church then came home ate lunch. Then Hayes and I took a nap and Ben, Jayden and Pace worked on Ben's truck. It was cute Ben had Jayden starting the truck up for him it was funny. Pace just stood back and covered his ears from all the cranking of the engine. lol Then Jayden and Pace decided to try out some science experiments. Which they are still doing now. Jayden got this plastic beaker with a experiment book out of his kids meal from What a Burger yesterday. So far they have put lemon juice with baking soda and made it fizz up which they thought was too cool. Then they made a glass full of water and food coloring with a stalk of celery which they will leave for 8 hours. Then they found a bone in the back yard and put it in vinegar and water and by a week it is supposed to be bendable. Jayden has bet me $1.00 that he can bend a bone in a week. lol They also made water, vegtable oil, and food coloring in their beaker which made the water colored and vegtable oil floated to the top. It is rainy today and what a great way to have fun on a rainy day.

So we had a great weekend again. I feel so blessed to have all these good weekends.
